The last day…

This is it, the last day of one of the worst years of my life. This year was filled with disappointment, heart ache and pain. I have no one to blame but myself. I had red flags, warning signs and caution lights flashing constantly before it all came into view. But me being me, the hopeless romantic, loveing recklessly kinda fool I am I refused to pay attention to those slaps of reality. Instead I left my heart out, I allowed it to be shattered and the pieces to be thrown about. I neglected that self preservation instinct that should have protected me from all this years ago. I have beaten myself up for these mistakes enough, I have learned from them. I am now trying to experience the world the way it be should experienced. Mistakes are okay, every mistake I made has lead me to be the person I am now. Everyday I wake up with a smile, I get ready for work, I go to the best job a person could have, I come home to a quiet peaceful home at night, I have 2 of the best little dogs God ever put on this earth and 2 of the greatest girls God could ever bless a woman with. I can now look back and see all the fears and pain and heart ache, I can still feel it and I still cry from it time to time but I know that there are better days to come. With the ending of 2011 and the beginning of 2012 upon me, I allow this day to hold the meanings of new greatness to come. I feel newness and greatness to come, now I have to let it…

My most Merriest Christmas…

Got a quick note from someone that summed it all up for me, I love this man sooo much for saving me from myself. (I’m a self destructive kind of girl if allowed to my own devices)

My Christmas was really special this year spent lots of time with family and friends, got a few gifts that were special in different ways. But Christmas night I got a surprise and funny how the smallest of effort from someone so special to me could make me feel so good. Just like my own personal Santa with the best gift of all, him self, recovered and smiling.:) He came with goodies in hand, but he was well enough to smile… I have missed that smile! My totally awesome Christmas had to end, but that’s ok, cause now its time to plan my totally amazing New Year! And this will indeed be the best year of my life. There will be late night kisses, early morning hugs, star light dances, tears in the rain, 5k runs, 20 pounds down, hot pink nails, lots of shaking my tail, iron pumping, line jumping, air humping, plank walking, treadmill stomping, salad eating, cholesterol dropping, fat injecting getting, 1st cruise with the kids, loving life, being @ work on time, being the best me I can be, smiling everyday no matter what, take on the world cause I am a winner, cause picking between great and amazing ain’t easy! These are my 2012 new years resolutions, and I’m gonna make them happen!
